Got to spend time with my BF this weekend. Have not seen Theresa much lately. I went out shopping with Theresa today. We went to 3 home goods stores and lunch. I am tired. I need a nap now. But it was fun.
Early in the weekend was rough. This was most definitely a GI bug- 24 hours of sickness which woke me from sleep at 3AM Saturday morning. Even the nausea meds could not compete with this mess. Glad that's over. Yuck! Good thing Brian was there to take care of me. He has been pretty great.
I have found another random side effect of pregnancy- I cry at commercials. There was this commercial about animal cruelty on TV. I cried at the end- I actually cried at a commercial. I do not cry at movies or TV- well apparently I do now.
On a happier note- my new rotation is awesome. It's easy street. I hardly have to be at work at all. A nice change.
We are really excited about the ultrasound on Friday.
I am so proud of you both. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better! And that your new rotation is going to be easier...
ReplyDeleteI know you will enjoy seeing your baby for the first time on Friday. I cant wait to see the pics too! :)
Glad to hear you feeling better and that work is giving you a break. I must say that I am mystified that my tough as nails daughter, who can stand all the blood and gore and whom her Dr. buddies have nicknamed "THE VELVET SLEDGEHAMMER" cries at commericals. I guess there is hope for world peace after all.
ReplyDeleteI know the exact commercial you are talking about... I cry at it too... something I never would have done before menopause hit. So in another 25 years or so, you can look forward to experiencing these crying bouts all over again. LOL. On a serious note, I am glad your GI bug is behind you (no pun intended).
ReplyDeletePS: Your Dad's world peace comment cracked me up!
I'm glad you got to spend time with Theresa, and that you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAs time goes on it should get easier. I can't wait to see the ultrasound of babybarbour, this is so exciting
